Most domestic driveways and patios take between three days and a week, depending on the size of the area, how much excavation is needed and the weather. We give you a realistic start and finish date with the quote, and we don't start a job we can't see through.
Yes. Every driveway and patio we lay is covered by a 5-year guarantee, on top of any manufacturer warranty on the paving itself. We've been doing this for 21 years and have laid over 5,000 driveways and patios, so we stand behind the work.
Block paving, natural Indian sandstone, porcelain, and decorative gravel, plus artificial grass and edging to finish the space off. We'll bring samples to the survey and show you photos of jobs we've done in the same material so you can see how it weathers, rather than picking off a brochure.
For a front driveway, you'll need planning permission only if you're laying more than five square metres of non-permeable surfacing without somewhere for the water to drain. We design every driveway to drain properly - either using permeable paving or by directing run-off to a border or soakaway - so in practice permission is rarely needed. Rear patios are almost always permitted development.
